    The past week has had important updates in the Indian car industry. Tata finally announced the full price list and detailed features for the 2025 Tata Harrier EV, which has been crash tested by Bharat NCAP. Meanwhile, Mahindra updated the Scorpio N with an ADAS suite and introduced a new variant. There were also luxury launches from Audi and Mercedes.

    Mahindra has updated the Scorpio N top-spec Z8 L variant with an ADAS suite. It has also launched a new Z8 T variant priced at Rs 20.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant offers all the features except for two equipment, including the ADAS. There have, however, been no changes to the powertrain options.

    2025 Tata Harrier EV Full Prices Revealed

    Tata Motors announced the full prices of the 2025 Harrier EV, including both its rear-wheel drive and all wheel drive variants. The prices for the flagship SUV range from Rs 21.49 lakh to Rs 27.49 lakh for the RWD trims, and the top-spec AWD trim costs Rs 28.99 lakh. The variant-wise features and colour options have also been revealed.

    The Tata Harrier EV has secured a 5-star safety rating for both adult and child protection in Bharat NCAP crash tests. The results are similar to its rival, the Mahindra XEV 9e. It achieved a full score for adult safety and 45 out of 49 for child safety, making it one of the highest-rated models tested so far. 

    Kia Carens Clavis EV India Reveal Date Confirmed

    Kia will unveil the Carens Clavis EV in India on July 15. It will be the carmaker’s first-ever mass-market electric MPV, and is expected to carry a handful of the design elements and features as its ICE counterpart, except for a few EV-specific tweaks. The prices of this electric Kia MPV could be announced on the day of its reveal.

    India-spec VinFast VF6 And VinFast VF7 Colour Options Revealed

    VinFast confirmed showcasing the India-spec VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs at mall displays in 11 cities across India. Both models get a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, which helps the two sports cars go from 0-100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. The carmaker has also shared the delivery schedule for the two cars.

    No Fuel For Old Vehicles In Delhi

    Starting from July 1, 2025, all fuel pumps in Delhi will stop selling fuel to diesel vehicles older than 10 years and petrol vehicles older than 15 years. The fuel stations will use number plate recognition cameras to check vehicle age, and violators may face action. The rule will expand to more NCR cities in phases from November 1.
