The Hyundai has launched the Verna facelift recently with minor design and feature updates, along with a completely revised variant lineup. Sitting at the very top of its range, the HX 10 variant is the most feature-loaded trim, offering everything from premium design elements to advanced tech and safety features.

So if you are planning to buy the new Verna and want the best it has to offer, or if you are wondering if you should upgrade from the lower variants, then here’s a closer look at the HX 10 variant to see if it justifies its premium price:

Hyundai Verna HX 10: Exterior

The HX 10 variant gets the most premium exterior setup in the Verna lineup. However, if you are planning to upgrade from the HX 8, the experience remains similar.

At the front, it features dual LED projector headlights along with LED DRLs, giving it a sharp and modern look. You get a black grille, connected headlights, and a new bumper design.

From the side, the HX 10 rides on 16-inch diamond-cut alloys (offered from the HX 6 variant) for the naturally aspirated petrol and 16-inch dark grey alloys for the turbo-petrol version. Turbo variants also get red front brake calipers, adding a sporty flair. You get chrome door handles instead of the body-coloured ones on the lower variants. There is also a new bumper with a distinct-looking silver applique for sportiness. Read about how the mid-spec HX 6 Plus variant here.

Overall, the HX 10 delivers a complete premium and sporty design package, especially in the turbo variant. In contrast, this is how the base-spec HX 2 variant of the Verna looks like.

Hyundai Verna HX 10: Interior

Step inside, and the HX 10 offers the most luxurious cabin experience in the Verna lineup.

It comes with a black-and-beige interior theme for the naturally aspirated petrol variant, while the turbo-petrol variant gets a sportier all-black cabin with red accents. Being the top-end variant you get leatherette upholstery, along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob.

You also get adjustable headrests, a sliding front armrest, rear sunshades, multiple cup holders, and charging ports. It features the updated flat-bottom steering wheel with the new Morse code Hyundai logo. Moreover, you also get soft-touch materials across the cabin.

Overall, the HX 10 offers a truly premium and comfortable cabin, especially for those who value convenience and luxury.

Hyundai Verna HX 10: Features

Inside the cabin is where the HX 10 forces you to think about an upgrade.

It comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (via adapter), paired with a BOSE 8-speaker sound system for an enhanced audio experience.

Other key features include an automatic climate control, electric sunroof, wireless phone charger, push-button start, cruise control, connected car tech, rain-sensing wipers and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs. You can also opt for the HX 8 variant which misses out on a few features, but is more affordable as well.

CarDekho Says

The HX 10 variant of the Hyundai Verna offers more features than most sedans in the segment, and justifies its price tag. It offers everything from advanced tech to comfort features and enhanced safety. It builds on the already well-equipped HX 8 by adding all the missing “feel-good” and luxury elements, making it a no-compromise choice.

However, this added equipment comes at a noticeable premium, and many of these features are more about convenience and exclusivity rather than necessity. For most buyers, the HX 6 Plus or HX 8 variants strike a better balance between price and features.

That said, if your priority is to get the most advanced, comfortable, and safest version of the Verna without worrying too much about the budget, the HX 10 makes a strong case for itself as the ultimate top-spec sedan.
