The Tata Sierra is the newest hot entrant in the compact SUV space, and besides the legacy design, a lot of features, the Tata SUV debuted a brand new 160 PS 1.5-litre TGDi turbo-petrol engine for the brand.
To spice things up, the carmaker has put the Sierra to its limits at the NATRAX track with this same turbo power to see how fast it goes. And if you’re curious how fast it did - well, it maxed out at 222 kmph.

The Sierra, with all the buzz around, has surely posed as a serious threat to the mighty Hyundai Creta, the popular Kia Seltos (which is gearing up for its second generation) or the Maruti sisters Grand Vitara and Victoris, alongside the segment contenders like the Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Honda Elevate and also the Citroen Aircross X. It will also rival the upcoming Renault Duster as well as its cousin, the Nissan Tekton.
