The Safari gets 5 variants now while the Harrier is available in 6 broad trims.

The Harrier’s new Adventure X and Adventure X Plus variants are placed between the Pure X and Fearless X trims.

Tata has positioned the Safari’s Adventure X Plus trim between the Pure X and Accomplished X.

Common features include dual digital displays, panoramic sunroof, and Level-2 ADAS.

Shortly after teasing a new trim of the Tata Harrier and Safari SUVs, the carmaker has now launched it and has christened it the ‘Adventure X’. These new variants mainly make some of the top-end features more accessible. Tata has also simplified the variant lineup of both the SUVs by discontinuing some variants, making it easier for buyers to choose the right one.

With the variant rejig, Tata has discontinued plenty of trims from both the SUVs’ lineups, including Smart, Smart (O), Pure, Pure (O), Pure Plus, and Pure Plus S. The Adventure Trim has now been simplified with just the Adventure X and Adventure X Plus.

The only noteworthy feature addition from their respective top-spec trims to the Adventure X and Adventure X Plus variants is the 6-way power-adjustable driver seat. Tata already used to offer their now-discontinued Adventure Plus and Adventure Plus A variants with features such as the 360-degree camera, ADAS and advanced ESP with driver attentiveness alert.
