The car sales data in India for June 2025 is out, and Hyundai Creta has improved its monthly sales to gain back the top spot, pushing the Maruti Dzire to second place. Meanwhile, the Kia Carens Clavis helped its nameplate make an entry to the list this time. Here’s a detailed sales summary of the top 15 selling cars in India for June 2025:

The Mahindra Scorpio slipped to seventh position in June 2025 sales. While its MoM sales dropped by 12 percent, it still managed a modest 4 percent YoY growth. The figures include both the Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic.

Tata’s Nexon and Nexon EV collectively recorded sales of over 11,600 units in June. Its MoM sales numbers dipped by 11 percent from May 2025.

Meanwhile, the Tata Punch and Punch EV followed it in ninth place registering a sharp 20 percent MoM drop in June 2025.

The Maruti Fronx experienced the highest MoM decline in this list. The crossover’s sales fell by 28 percent to just under 9,820 units in June 2025. Despite this, it maintained a marginal YoY growth of 1 percent.

The Mahindra Thar, including the Thar Roxx, posted a 77 percent yearly gain from June 2024. However, its MoM performance slipped by 8 percent in June 2025.

Both Maruti Eeco and Maruti Baleno slipped down one place in June 2025 sales. The Eeco posted a 24 percent MoM decline in sales with over 9,000 units sold.

On the other hand, the Baleno posted a 23 percent MoM decline and a sharp 40 percent drop in yearly sales from June 2024. The premium hatchback managed to find just over 8,900 unit sales.

The Toyota Innova nameplate, including both the Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross, maintained a steady performance in June 2025 with over 8800 units sold. Meanwhile, its rival nameplate, the Kia Carens, which is now backed by the new Carens Clavis, claimed a spot in the roster this time, marking a 75 percent jump in its MoM sales.
