The Tata Harrier EV is Tata’s new flagship product, priced from Rs 21.49 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). Its official bookings will begin from July 2, and it is offered in three broad variants: Adventure, Fearless Plus, and Empowered. Buyers can choose between two battery options: 65 kWh and 75 kWh, along with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations. We’ve broken down the variant-wise mechanical details below.

- The base-spec Adventure variant of the Harrier EV is only offered with the smaller battery option paired with a single motor setup, which delivers power to the rear wheels.

The mid-spec Fearless Plus variant gets both battery options, but only with a single-motor rear-wheel drive configuration.

Features & Safety
The 2025 Harrier EV is equipped with a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats with driver-side memory function, multi-colour ambient lighting, a 10-speaker JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos, and a powered tailgate.
On the safety front, it features a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) setup alongside features such as seven airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, and both front and rear parking sensors.
Price & Rivals
The rear-wheel drive Tata Harrier EV is priced between Rs 21.49 lakh and Rs 27.49 lakh (ex-showroom), while the all-wheel drive version starts at Rs 28.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
It rivals the Mahindra XEV 9e and BYD Atto 3, and also serves as a more affordable alternative to the BYD Sealion 7 and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
