Latest Update: The test mule of the Tata Safari EV has been spied doing rounds on Indian roads.
Launch: It is expected to go on sale in India by April 2025.
Price: Tata could price the Safari EV from Rs 32 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Battery Pack And Range: Tata is yet to reveal the battery pack and electric motor specifications for the Safari EV. However, we expect that it could offer a range of up to 500 km.
Features: The electric version of the Tata Safari will come with amenities like a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone AC, ventilated front and rear seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
Safety: Its safety kit could include up to 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitor, electronic stability control (ESC), and full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Rivals: The Tata Safari will be a larger alternative to the MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, BYD Atto 3, and the Maruti e Vitara.
