Porsche Cayanne diesel coming to India

In the recent event it has been noted that the talks has been going between the officials of Germany in order so that they can bring the new model variant Porsche Cayanne diesel to India. It is expected that the new model will come to Asia and Middle East besides the Indian sub-continent. It will be sold in some of the selective European markets from the months of February 2009. Initially the car was designed for the Indian markets but soon after coming to the International market the officials of the car were pre-desisive to launch it to the international market as well.
Being equipped with the engine of V6 turbo diesel type, it delivers a power of 240 hp or 176 kw. Featured with Tiptronic S automatic transmission in the standard variant type. At present Porsche Cayanne is equipped with seven different model variants in its list. It has come to the notice that the Porsche group of companies are using the diesel engines since the long gone past. And also finds them very reliable. As a car in the SUV category it offers excellent performance and style. According to some of the sources it is expected that the model is going to be launched in some other countries also. Since Porsche Cayanne is the only largest selling SUV it offers distinctive possibilities of turning India as a potential market for the vehicle sells.
