Latest Update: Mahindra has confirmed it will introduce a 5-door version of the Thar.
Mahindra Thar 5-door Launch: It is expected to probably be launched in 2023.
Mahindra Thar 5-door Price: The five-door Thar could be priced from Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra Thar 5-door Powertrains: The new Thar should retain the existing 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, possibly in a higher state of tune. Transmission options should include 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. Mahindra could also offer the 5-door Thar with a relatively affordable 2WD drivetrain.
