Kia Clavis Unofficial Bookings Open Ahead Of Its May 8 Debut

The Clavis has been teased recently, where it has been seen with a new 3-pod LED headlights design as well as the inclusion of ADAS and a 360-degree camera in the premium MPV
The Kia Clavis was teased recently in its production-spec avatar, where we got to see its exterior design and a few features. Notably, the Clavis will be sold alongside the Kia Carens and will debut in India on May 08, 2025. If you are interested in this upcoming premium MPV from the Korean carmaker, some dealerships are accepting its offline bookings.
But before you head on towards your nearest Kia dealership, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Clavis MPV:
Kia Clavis: An Overview
The teaser showcases the front design of the MPV, which features 3-pod projector LED headlights in a triangular housing highlighted by LED DRLs, similar to the Kia EV6. The grille is blanked-off and the front and rear bumper get a rugged design with a silver faux skid plate. At the rear is a new set of connected LED tail light setup with an illuminated light bar.
While the interior design is yet to be revealed, the Clavis is expected to get a minimalist and modern cabin that could seek some inspiration from the Kia Syros. It will borrow a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display from the Syros and is also likely to borrow the sub-4m SUV’s touchscreen infotainment system.
The teaser also confirmed a panoramic sunroof, and other comfort and convenience features could include a dual-zone auto AC and a powered co-driver’s seat with boss mode. It should carry on features from the Carens such as a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats and a Bose sound system. Its safety suite can include 6 airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera with front and rear parking sensors. An advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) suite is also confirmed.

Kia Clavis: Expected Price And Rivals
The Kia Clavis is expected to be priced from Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be a more premium alternative against the Maruti Ertiga, Toyota Rumion and Maruti XL6. It will also go up against the Toyota Innova Crysta, Toyota Innova Hycross and Maruti Invicto.
