EXCLUSIVE: 2nd Generation Honda Amaze Now Available In A Single Mid-spec ‘S’ Variant; All Other Variants Discontinued
Before this variant rejig, the 2nd Amaze was available in 3 variants: E, S and VX, prices of which ranged between Rs 7.20 lakh and Rs 9.96 lakh (ex-showroom)
The current-generation Honda Amaze was launched back on December 4, 2025, but Honda still kept the previous generation model on sale alongside it. While it was available in 3 variants: E, S and VX, the Japanese carmaker has now discontinued all trims except the mid-spec S trim. So if you want a more feature-loaded Amaze, you have no choice but to consider the new third-generation model.
That said, the old Amaze is available with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with both manual and automatic options, which is great news. Let us take a look at the updated variant-wise prices:
Prices
Variant

S MT

S CVT

All prices are ex-showroom, pan-India

While it obviously carries forward the boxy silhouette of the old Honda Amaze, the S variant features halogen headlights, a 3-piece chunky grille clad in chrome and a black portion on the bumper. It features 14-inch steel wheels with covers, a shark fin antenna and LED tail lights. However, it misses out on projector LED headlights, fog lamps and alloy wheels that were offered with the higher-spec ZX trim earlier.
Inside, it continues with a black and beige cabin theme with beige fabric upholstery on the seats. The dashboard features a 3-spoke steering wheel with some audio functions, a basic music system with 4 speakers as well as an instrument cluster with analogue dials and a monotone multi information display (MID).
Other features onboard the S variant of the 2nd generation Amaze include a manual AC with heater, power windows on all four doors, keyless entry, electrically adjustable and foldable outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) and tilt adjustable steering wheel.
Compared to before, it misses out on amenities like touchscreen infotainment system and auto AC that were offered earlier with the ZX trim. If you want these niceties, you have no other choice, but to consider the new-gen Amaze.
The second-gen Amaze’s safety suite includes dual airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and day/night rear view mirror (IRVM).
