After being teased a few times, the facelifted Renault Kiger has now been launched in our market. It is the first major midlife refresh for the sub-4m SUV since its launch in early 2021. As seen with the facelifted Triber, Renault is offering the updated Kiger in four new personas too: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. Here’s a look at its variant-wise prices:

    Design

In terms of cosmetic tweaks, the facelifted Kiger features a new 10-slat grille design with an updated 2D ‘Renault’ logo in the centre, a redesigned bumper, and a satin chrome surround for the air dam. It also gets new LED projector headlights, with the fog lamps positioned just below them. The LED DRLs, however, look quite similar to those on the pre-facelift Kiger.

There are no major changes made to the profile, however it gets a fresh set of dual-tone alloy wheels. Since this is a dual-tone version of the Kiger, it also comes with blacked out ORVMs (outside rear view mirrors), and chrome-finished door handles. At the rear, the Kiger facelift retains the same LED tail lights with revised lighting elements, while the bumper has also been tweaked. The boot space and the ground clearance remain unchanged, at 405 litres and 205 mm, respectively.

    What’s Changed In The Cabin?

Renault is offering the new Kiger with a white and black dual-tone cabin theme and an updated seat upholstery.

Although the updated SUV also features some new trim inserts on the door pads and on the dashboard, the overall dashboard layout remains unchanged.

    An Updated Features Suite

Renault is offering the Kiger facelift with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, auto climate control with rear AC vents, a 7-inch full-digital instrument cluster, and a wireless phone charger. The updated Kiger now also comes with amenities like cruise control, and auto-LED headlights.

Passenger safety is taken care of by 6 airbags (as standard), electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a reverse parking camera, and rear parking sensors.

    Engine And Gearbox Options

You still get the same pair of petrol engine choices as offered on the pre-facelift model.

The technical specifications of both the powertrains are given in the table below:

    Engine

    1-litre Naturally Aspirated Petrol

    1-litre Turbo-petrol

Just like before, the 2025 Renault Kiger can also be had with an optional retrofitted CNG kit offered at the dealership, with its 1-litre naturally aspirated version.

For CNG, customers will have to pay a price premium of Rs 79,500 over the naturally aspirated petrol variant of the Kiger.

    Competition Check

The facelifted Renault Kiger takes on the likes of the Hyundai Exter, Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, and Skoda Kylaq.
