Here’s a quick look at the 10 top-selling SUVs in November 2021, which was dominated by subcompact SUVs but with a few surprise results as well:

  • The Vitara Brezza leads the list for November 2021, selling 10,760 units.

  • The Creta takes the second rank, just falling short of the Brezza by 460 units. It reported a MoM increase of nearly 60 percent but sold fewer units than this time last year.

  • The Tata Nexon is the third most popular SUV in November despite a drop in its MoM figures. Overall, it's still on an upwards trend with a YoY increase of more than 60 percent.

  • The Kia Seltos takes the fourth position, selling 8,859 units in November. Its monthly figures seem to be dipping at the moment, but it is still significantly more popular than most of its rivals.

  • The Venue’s monthly performance is following a similar pattern to the Seltos but still recorded nearly 8,000 units for November.

  • One of the latest and smallest SUVs in the market, the Tata Punch, secured the sixth rank. This is when its sales have declined from 8,453 units in October to 6,110 in November. However, its freshness may not reflect its true market performance just yet as the sales will level out over the next few months.

  • The Kia Sonet’s yearly sales have dipped by a drastic 240 percent, from 11,417 units in 2020 to 4,719 units in 2021.

  • The Mahindra XUV300 reported 4,005 units sold in November, maintaining its average monthly sales figure of around 4,000 units. It was the most popular Mahindra SUV during that month but still a long way behind the rivals.

  • The Scorpio also maintains an average monthly sales of 3,000 units.

  • The other recent launch, the Mahindra XUV700, rounded off the list with over 3,200 units shipped. Its monthly figures are expected to rise once the ongoing semiconductor shortage situation improves.
