Maruti Suzuki Swift: The Swift is the most popular mid-size hatchback in India by quite a margin. Despite this, it can be had instantly in 10 of the 20 cities on our list. In all other cities, the waiting period stretches from 15 days to 6 weeks.
Ford Figo: One of the two Fords on the list, the Figo's waiting period across the 20 cities is erratic. It can be had in Mumbai within a month but the waiting period in Pune stretches up to 3 months. It can be had without a wait in seven cities while the waiting period stretches from 15 days to 1 month in the rest of the cities.
Hyundai Grand i10: Despite Hyundai launching the Grand i10 Nios, the Grand i10 will remain on showroom floors. It can be had without a wait in 11 cities while all the other cities have a waiting period of 15 days to a month. Only in Hyderabad will you have to wait 3 months to take delivery.
Ford Freestyle: The second Ford on the list, the Freestyle, can be had without a wait in 8 cities. In other cities, its wait period stretches from 1 week to a month, other than Bangalore, where it will take 45 days.
