Maruti Celerio gets more affordable
Maruti Suzuki India has reduced the prices of its entire lineup in the Indian car market. Now, the recently launched Celerio will cost Rs. 14,000 cheaper than what it was announced.

With the recent declaration of cut in excise duty over cars in India, car manufacturers are high on bringing the immediate action towards it. Almost across every segment, the excise duty has been reduced to a certain percent. This step is taken to combat the market blues currently prevailing heavily in India. With this, car manufacturers are hoping to improve their sales in the Indian car market.

Considering the most significant small car segment, which have largest share in sales, has got a sharp reduction of 4%. Particularly, the most recent arrival, Maruti Celerio too has received revision over its prices. As it was reported earlier, Maruti Suzuki had join the league of carmakers who have reduced the prices post the declaration of this interim budget, and now finally have revealed the new prices of Celerio.
Now the starting price is Rs. 3.76 lakh as against the earlier pricing of Rs. 3.90 lakh, and ranges upto Rs. 4.78 lakh for the top end variant (VXi- O). The AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) versions- LXi now costs at Rs. 4.14 lakh, while the earlier it was priced at Rs. 4.29 lakh, the VXi AMT comes with a price tag of Rs. 4.43 lakh as against older price of Rs. 4.59 lakh.
