Mini Countryman C

Mini has launched the Countryman C in India, expanding the Countryman lineup with a more accessible petrol-powered version. The new Mini Countryman C positions itself below the performance-focused Countryman JCW All4 and is the first petrol-powered Countryman variant to be locally assembled in India. 

The Countryman C is manufactured at the BMW Group’s Chennai plant, helping Mini position the SUV at a more competitive price point. Priced at Rs 47.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the Countryman C will appeal to buyers looking for a premium compact SUV with Mini’s distinctive styling, a feature-loaded cabin and a practical SUV body style.

With bookings underway, the Countryman C is expected to become an important addition to Mini’s India lineup. 

The 2026 Mini Countryman C gets the familiar design language and silhouette of the latest-generation Countryman, but features some distinctive styling elements to set itself apart from the JCW and EV variants.

At the front, the SUV features a grille with matte champagne-coloured accents, which also extend to the skid plates. The premium detailing gives the Countryman C a more stylish and exclusive appearance. You can now customise the LED DRL signature in various shapes.

In profile, the Countryman C maintains its upright SUV stance with body-coloured door handles and premium alloy wheels.

The champagne-coloured exterior elements provide a contrast against the body paint, adding to its distinctive design. You get roof rails that accentuate its SUV stance, and blacked-out pillars for a sporty effect. 

At the rear, the SUV continues with Mini’s modern design theme, featuring stylish LED tail lamps and a clean bumper design. The SUV comes equipped with all-LED lighting, including matrix LED tail lamps. You get a prominent skid plate for contrast, and a roof-mounted spoiler for a sporty effect. 

Overall, the Countryman C carries forward Mini’s iconic design identity while adding premium detailing to appeal to Indian luxury car buyers.

The interior of the 2026 Mini Countryman C follows the brand’s latest cabin design philosophy, combining a retro-inspired layout with modern technology. It continues to remain cute and sporty, making it one of the coolest interiors at this price point. 

The biggest highlight inside the cabin is the signature circular OLED touchscreen infotainment system placed at the centre of the dashboard. The large circular display continues Mini’s unique design approach while offering access to infotainment, vehicle functions and connected features. Surrounding the eye-catching display are vertical AC vents that look nice and premium. 

The cabin features a dual-tone interior theme with premium champagne-coloured accents, giving it a luxurious feel. The three-spoke design of the steering wheel stands out and complements the sporty theme of the cabin. The good thing is that you get physical buttons too, positioned below the circular display. The lower centre console also offers sufficient space for your mobile phones and provides two cup holders as well.
