Mahindra XEV 9e And BE 6 Collectively Cross 10,000 Unit Sales In A Little Over 2 Months

While the carmaker has only delivered the fully-loaded Pack Three variants till now, it will start shipping the lower variants this month

After the order books of the Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 were opened on February 14, 2025, the carmaker started shipping the EVs to its customers in March this year. Now, the carmaker has confirmed that both its new-age EVs have collectively crossed 10,000 sales. It has taken both the EVs around 70 days, which is a little over 2 months, to cross this sales milestone. Mahindra says it has sold 1 unit of either of these EVs in 10 minutes. Notably, Mahindra has been delivering only the fully-loaded variants of both EVs until now. Deliveries of the lower variants will commence this month.

Notably, the carmaker had garnered over 30,000 combined bookings of the XEV 9e and BE 6 on February 14 alone. Moreover, Mahindra shipped 3,000 EVs to its customers on the very first day. All of this suggests the widespread acceptance of both new EVs by the masses.

Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6: Features And Safety

Both the Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 are fairly modern offerings that come with a lot of premium features. These include a triple 12.3-inch screen setup on the XEV 9e (one each for the driver’s display, infotainment, and passenger’s display), with the BE 6 getting a dual-screen setup. Both EVs also feature a panoramic glassroof, dual wireless phone chargers,  multi-zone auto AC with rear vents, ventilated and powered front seats, and a 1400-watt 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. Mahindra has also equipped both the XEV 9e and BE 6 with augmented reality (AR) based heads-up display and a selfie camera.

Not only are both Mahindra new-age EVs filled to the brim with comfort and convenience features, but they also have a lot of safety tech on offer. This includes 7 airbags, an electronic parking brake, disc brakes on all wheels, auto park assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat anchorages and a 360-degree camera. Both EVs also get a Level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) suite with features like driver attention warning and autonomous emergency braking.

Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6: Powertrain Options

Both the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e come with two battery pack options, mated with a rear-axle-mounted (RWD) electric motor, the details of which are as follows:

The bigger battery pack can be charged from 20-80 percent in just 20 minutes with a 175 kWh battery pack.
