2025 Kia Carens Clavis One-Below-Top HTX Variant Explained In 7 Real-life Images
If you are opting for the diesel engine with the Kia Carens Clavis, the HTX is the most premium variant that money can buy
The 2025 Kia Carens Clavis has reached dealerships and while we have already seen the fully-loaded HTX Plus variant in its glory, the one-below-top HTX trim has also reached showrooms. Notably, this is the top-spec variant if you are opting for the diesel powertrain with the Clavis. We got hold of some real-life images of the HTX variant from our dealership sources and here’s how it looks:
Front
Although the HTX is one-below-top variant in the Kia Carens Clavis’ lineup, it has the looks that matches up to the fully loaded trim. It gets 3-pod LED headlights in a triangular housing, which is highlighted with inverted V-shaped LED DRLs.
The grille is blanked-off and the bumper features rugged black cladding and a faux silver skid plate that give it a contrasting look. However, it does not get the radar sensors for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) on the bumper, as it is only offered with the HTX Plus variant with the turbo-petrol automatic only.
Side
Nothing is changed in the HTX variant’s profile in comparison to the fully-loaded trim. As such, it gets the same dual-tone 17-inch alloy wheels. The wheel arches get a black rugged cladding that is extended to the doors, which gives a more SUV-ish look to the premium MPV.
On closer inspection, one can also find a camera module on the outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) for the 360-degree camera, silver roof rails and a chrome trim on the windowline.
Rear
The rear of the Carens Clavis’ HTX variant also looks very premium and modern with the inclusion of LED tail lights that are connected via a light bar.
The bumper has been blacked out and it features a faux silver skid plate. The variant also comes with a roof-mounted spoiler and a shark-fin antenna.

Interior
Step inside the cabin and you will be greeted with a navy blue and beige theme that looks premium and upmarket. The dashboard features a soft-touch blue fabric portion with a silver trim on it.
Other than this, the HTX variant comes with a 2-spoke steering wheel which borrows the same cabin hues and dual 12.3-inch displays (one for the infotainment and another for instrumentation).
The only major difference is that the HTX variant is strictly a 7-seater, while the fully-loaded trim can be had with 6 seats. However, the seats get the same beige leatherette upholstery as the HTX Plus variant that makes the cabin look lively and airier.
Other Features And Safety
Apart from the dual 12.3-inch screens, the HTX variant gets a 64-colour ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, push-button start/stop, cruise control, auto AC and electrically-adjustable ORVMs with an auto fold function. The variant also gets a panoramic sunroof with the turbo-petrol engine, however, the diesel gets a smaller single-pane sunroof.
It misses out on ventilated front seats, 4-way powered driver’s seat and a more premium 8-speaker Bose sound system, all of which is offered with the top-spec variant.
In terms of safety, it is equipped with 6 airbags (as standard), 360-degree camera, dual-camera dashcam, a rear wiper and defogger, front and rear parking sensors and ISOFIX child seat anchorages. It does not get a Level-2 ADAS that is offered with the HTX Plus variant.
