Skoda Kylaq, Kushaq, And Slavia Get A New Limited Edition, Prices Start From Rs 11.25 Lakh

• Skoda Kylaq, Kushaq and Slavia get a new Limited Edition to celebrate the carmaker’s 25th anniversary. 
• The Kylaq Limited Edition is based on the higher-spec Signature Plus and Prestige variants. 
• Meanwhile, the Kushaq and Slavia get it on the Monte Carlo trim. 
• Additions include a 360-degree camera, puddle lamps and “25 Years” badging on all three cars. 
• The Slavia and Kushaq get additional red exterior trims and underbody lighting. 
• Do note that the Kylaq Limited Edition is offered only with the manual transmission.

Skoda India has launched a new Limited Edition for the Skoda Kylaq, Skoda Slavia and Skoda Kushaq. This new Limited Edition is to commemorate the carmaker’s 25th anniversary in the Indian market. It is based on the respective top-end variant of these cars and comes with minor cosmetic tweaks and an important feature addition. Do note that only 500 units of each model would be available, so we would advise you to be quick if you have your eyes on one. 

Prices 

The Kylaq Limited Edition is based on two variants: Signature Plus and Prestige. Meanwhile, the Skoda Slavia and Skoda Kushaq’s Limited Edition are based on the top-spec Monte Carlo variant.

As seen in the table above, the Limited Editions are priced exactly the same as the variant they are based on. 

What Do They Get? 

The most important addition in the Limited Edition of these three cars is the presence of a 360-degree camera. They also come with puddle lamps displaying the brand name and a bespoke “25 Years” badge on the doors. 

If you opt for the Skoda Slavia and Skoda Kushaq, you get some additional kit. Since the Limited Edition for these cars is based on the top-end Monte Carlo variant, there are red trims on the bumper, doors and tailgate that contrast nicely with the black hue. It also comes with underbody lighting that looks super cool, especially in the dark. 

Apart from these updates, all three cars are more or less similar to the standard version. 

Features Onboard 

Top features onboard the Skoda Slavia, Kushaq and Kylaq include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, a wireless phone charger, powered front seats with ventilation, cruise control, automatic climate control and a single-pane sunroof. 

Passenger safety is taken care of by 6 airbags (as standard), ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and electronic stability control (ESC). 

Engine Options 

All three cars come with the 1-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, while the Skoda Kushaq and Skoda Slavia also come with an additional 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. You can check out the detailed specifications here:

Do note that the Skoda Kylaq Limited Edition is only available with the manual transmission. You can get it with all powertrain options in the Slavia and Kushaq. 

Rivals 

The Skoda Kylaq goes up against sub-4 metre SUVs such as the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet / Syros, Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV 3XO. 

The Skoda Slavia’s competitors include the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and VW Virtus. Meanwhile, the Skoda Kushaq goes up against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate and MG Astor.
