Mahindra recently introduced a new RevX range for the XUV 3XO, available with two turbo-petrol engine options. At the top of this lineup sits the RevX A variant, which is the most feature-loaded of the lot. Its automatic version, powered by the 1.2-litre TGDi engine, is priced at nearly Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom). This places it in direct competition with the Hyundai Venue N Line’s entry-level N6 trim, which also comes with an automatic transmission at a similar budget.

So, if you are spending around Rs 13 lakh, should you go for the fully loaded XUV 3XO RevX A or the sportier Venue N Line N6? Let us find out.

They also match each other on the safety front with six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, a rear parking camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

That said, the Mahindra XUV 3XO RevX A does hold some clear advantages. It gets a larger 10.25-inch infotainment system paired with a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an auto-dimming IRVM, all of which the Venue N Line misses out on.

The Hyundai Venue N Line N6, on the other hand, has its strengths with paddle shifters, metal pedals, puddle lamps and disc brakes on all four wheels.

Verdict

The Hyundai Venue N Line N6 is aimed at driving enthusiasts, thanks to its stiffer suspension setup and revised dynamics over the standard Venue, which make it more engaging on the road. It also comes with a decent set of features and covers all the basics well, while adding sporty touches like paddle shifters and metal pedals.

However, it is the Mahindra XUV 3XO RevX A that emerges as the stronger overall package. It offers more space, a more powerful engine, and a far richer features list that includes dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and a fully digital driver’s display. On paper, the XUV 3XO feels like the more value-packed choice at this price point, making it the better buy between the two.

However, we still advise you to test drive both sub-4m SUV offerings before reaching a conclusion.

But based on the on-paper specifications, which one will you choose between the two? Let us know in the comments section below.
