The 2025 Tata Harrier EV has been launched in India at Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). While the Harrier EV gets some design tweaks to set it apart from its ICE version, one aspect that has been completely redesigned is its key fob. The 2025 Harrier EV now gets a new circular keyfob that does more than just locking and unlocking the car.

2025 Tata Harrier EV: What Can The New Keyfob Do?
The circular key fob allows you to access a number of features in the Tata Harrier EV. First up is the basic functionality. You can lock and unlock the car, open its tailgate and even switch on and off the exterior lights. But as seen in the video, the key fob has an inner ring, where you can access some of its party tricks by long pressing it.
These tricks include switching off and on the car as well as the Summon mode functionality, where you can move the vehicle forward or backwards. Lastly, even the auto park assist feature can be accessed through the vehicle’s key.
Its unconventional design could also lead to the question of whether you can slap on a keychain or not. Fret not, as Tata has thought about it and has given provisions to attach your favourite keychain. The new key fob looks premium and sleek. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
2025 Tata Harrier EV: Other Features Onboard
Notable features onboard the 2025 Tata Harrier EV include a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Samsung QLED display, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, a wireless phone charger, 10-speaker JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos, multi-colour ambient lighting, powered front seats with ventilation and a powered tailgate.
Passenger safety is taken care of by seven airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system and level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Some of the tech highlights include a Transparent View with the 360-degree camera, a digital IRVM with a dash cam and six terrain modes.

The Harrier EV also comes with fast charging capabilities, where it can charge from 20 to 80 percent in around 25 minutes using a 120 kW charger.
2025 Tata Harrier EV: Price And Rivals
At the moment, Tata Motors has only disclosed the entry-level price of the Harrier EV, which starts from Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It locks horns with the Mahindra XEV 9e and BYD Atto 3. It’s also a more affordable alternative to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and BYD Sealion 7.
