New Hyudai Verna Fluidic registers over 20,000 bookings

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), the country’s largest exporter and the second largest car manufacturer, had launched the new Hyudai Verna Fluidic in May this year. The new Hyudai Verna Fluidic  has received an overwhelming response from the customers since its launch and has already clocked over 20,000 bookings pan India.

The new Hyundai Verna Fluidic pioneers a host of premium and futuristic design elements based on Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture Design Philosophy. The new Hyudai Verna Fluidic is being offered at an introductory price of Rs 699,000 - Rs 1,074,500 (ex-Showroom, New Delhi).The new Hyudai Verna Fluidic has four engine options - 1.4 litre VTVT delivering 107PS@6300rpmof maximum power and 13.8Kgm@5000rpm of peak torque, the petrol 1.6 litre VTVT engine with 123PS@6300rpm maximum power and 15.8kgm@4200rpmpeak torque, the Common Rail diesel 1.4 litre CRDi with 90PS@4000rpm max power and 22.43kgm@1750 – 2750rpm of peak torque and the diesel 1.6 litre VGT CRDi, with range topping 128PS@4000rpm max power and 26.5kgm@1900-2750rpm of peak torque.

Both the 1.6 litre petrol and the diesel engines are mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission while the manual transmission option is available with all the four engine options. The super-efficient 1.4 litre petrol engine gives a mileage of17.43kmpl (ARAI figures) while the 1.4 litre diesel version clocks 23.5kmpl (ARAI figures) making the new Hyudai Verna Fluidic is the most fuel-efficient car in the segment.
