Mahindra Soon to Launch XUV500 W8 Xlcusive Edition With Sunroof and Other Blings!

Mahindra is readying for the launch of the new range topping XUV5OO W8 ‘Xlcusive Edition’ soon. A leaked brochure reveals the same and the launch can be expected in couple of weeks. The variant is coming with added premium goodies along with elusive stylistic changes. Mahindra has been testing the vehicle and it has been spotted recently plenty of times.

Talking about the changes, there are no major changes to the design of XUV5OO. But at the outset, the Xclusive edition features a sunroof along with the subtle changes and a hydraulic support for bonnet. Moreover, it will feature an updated infotainment system with internet connectivity along with other blings. It will also feature electronically adjustable driver seat. Both the sunroof and electronic seat adjust are borrowed from Mahindra’s SsangYong Rexton.

Mechanically, it will be powered by the same 2.2-liter mHawk140, direct-injection variable geometry turbocharged (VGT) diesel engine. The 2179cc oil burner generates 140 bhp @ 3750 rpm and max torque 330 Nm in-between the engine speed 1600 2800 rpm. Moreover, apart from the new ‘Xlcusive Edition’, XUV5OO this year is also expected to be offered with an automatic transmission along with the greener Hybrid version that was showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo.
