Kia Announces A Voluntary Recall For Carens

The carmaker will provide Carens owners a free-of-cost software update if required

• They will need to schedule an appointment with the nearest authorised dealer.

Kia India has announced a recall of its Carens MPV for inspection and a free software update to fix a possible issue in the airbag control module (ACU).

The carmaker will contact the owners of the affected vehicles and they will have to schedule an appointment with their nearest Kia authorised dealer to get their vehicle checked. Customers can also make an appointment by visiting Kia’s website, using the Kia App, or by calling the Kia call centre.
