Electric version of Hyundai i10 to be launched at Auto Expo 2010
Electric and diesel version of Hyundai's flagship model, Hyundai i10, might be launched at the up-coming Auto Expo 2010. These launches are expected from a long time in India. The Hyundai i10 has left behind Hyundai Santro on the sales front in 2009. Apart from this, news of launching Hyundai i30 at the expo is also in the air. In addition to this, Indian car enthusiasts may also be blessed by the launch of Hyundai Avante and Hyundai Verna Transformer at the Auto Expo. The company is well prepared to introduce its new Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Hyundai Santa Fe at the show. The new SUV, Hyundai Santa Fe, will have to compete with Maruti Grand Vitara and Honda CRV.
