With the first quarter of 2026 already witnessing a steady flow of launches, the momentum does not seem to slow down anytime soon. April is shaping up to be another action-packed month, with a mix of updates to popular models as well as some all-new offerings across segments.
A mix of facelifts, new variants, and upcoming unveilings expected over the coming weeks, there’s quite a bit lined up. On that note, here’s a look at all the cars that could make their way to India in April 2026.
MG Hector Diesel
Debut Date: April-end 2026
Expected Price: Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom)
The MG Hector is expected to get a diesel engine option soon, adding another choice to its lineup. The SUV recently received a facelift with updated styling and more features, and the diesel variant will sit alongside the existing petrol versions. It is expected to get the 170 PS/ 350 Nm 2-litre diesel engine paired with 6-speed manual transmission.

Feature-wise, the Hector already offers a large 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech, powered and ventilated seats, and panoramic sunroof. Safety features include 360-degree camera system, tyre pressure monitoring system, and level-2 ADAS.
Volkswagen Taigun Facelift
Unveil Date: 09 April 2026
Expected Price: Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom)
Volkswagen is set to unveil the facelifted Taigun this April, marking its first major update since launch. While the overall silhouette is expected to remain familiar, the facelift could bring refreshed styling elements to keep it in line with newer rivals.

Inside, updates are likely to focus on feature additions and cabin enhancements. Expect improvements in the infotainment system as well as additional comfort and safety tech. Mechanically, it is likely to continue with the same turbo-petrol engine options as before. This includes 1-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine choices.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift
Launch Date: April-end 2026
Expected Price: Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom)
Maruti Suzuki is also expected to launch the facelifted Brezza, one of its most popular compact SUVs. While official details are still under wraps, early sightings suggest subtle design tweaks along with updates to its feature list.

The current Brezza already comes equipped with features such as a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay, push button start/stop, cruise control, and automatic climate control. Safety features include, six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, 3-point seat belts for all passengers.
Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric
Launch Date: April-end 2026
Expected Price: Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom)
Mercedes-Benz has already unveiled the all-electric CLA, and its India launch is expected to follow soon in April. This new electric sedan marks a significant step in the brand’s EV lineup, offering a blend of luxury as well as efficiency.

One of its biggest highlights is the claimed range of over 750 km, making it one of the longest-range EVs in its segment. The CLA electric comes equipped with an 85.5 kWh battery pack coupled with 272 PS single electric motor setup. Along with that, it features a tech-loaded cabin, premium materials, and the latest generation of Mercedes’ MB.OS infotainment system.
MG Majestor
Launch Date: April-end 2026
Expected Price: Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom)
The MG Majestor has already been unveiled in India and is expected to go on sale in April. Positioned as a premium SUV, it aims to offer a more luxurious and feature-rich experience along with practicality.

Key features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 12-way power-adjustable front seats with ventilation and massage function, three-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof and dual wireless chargers. The Majestor is powered by a 2-litre turbo-charged diesel that puts out 215 PS/ 478 Nm. Toyota Ebella
Launch Date: April-mid 2026
Expected Price: Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Toyota Ebella EV has already been unveiled and is expected to be launched around mid-April. It will be one of Toyota’s key offerings in the mass-market electric SUV space, with a strong focus on practicality as well as ease of ownership.

In terms of design, the Ebella EV gets a modern and clean look with EV-specific styling elements, while the cabin is expected to feature a well-equipped layout with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, and connected car tech. It will be offered with 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery pack options with claimed range up to 543 km. Nissan Gravite CNG
Launch Date: April-end 2026
Expected Price: Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom)
After the launch of the Nissan Gravite MPV, the brand is expected to reveal the price list of CNG variants to make it more accessible for budget-conscious buyers. This move will help Nissan strengthen its presence in the affordable MPV segment. The factory-fitted CNG kit will be paired with 72 PS 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.

The Gravite is offered with features such as a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital driver display, and essential safety equipment, including ABS with EBD, six airbags, rear parking sensors with camera.
