Ameya Walavalkar leads Race One of Round Two of Volkswagen Polo R Cup 2012

On July 28th, Ameya Walavalkar took the pole position for the Race One of Round Two of JK Tyre Volkswagen Polo R Cup 2012. The race was held at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. Ameya drove the TSi Race Polo and completed the track in the quickest time of 1:14:692 seconds. Following Ameya was A. Sandeep Kumar who was just 0.343 seconds behind him and Avdumber Hede and Rahil Noorani stood the 3rd and 4th positions, respectively.

On July 28^th, Ameya Walavalkar took the pole position for the Race One of Round Two of JK Tyre Volkswagen Polo R Cup 2012. The race was held at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. Commenting on his achievement, Ameya said that he was very excited and Volkswagen Motorsport team had worked very closely to make sure that he was comfortable in the car. Sandeep said that he looked forward to the rest of the tournament.

Head of Motorsports, Prithviraj Siddappa said that the Season 3 of the Volkswagen Polo R Cup has seen new faces at the top. The TSI Race Polo has been performing well and has seen improvements from the first round as these cars completed the second round much faster than the previous one.

The drivers were much more comfortable and extracted more out of their TSI Race Polo.
