With the new generation, the Tiguan has grown larger in size. For India, Volkswagen is offering the SUV in its sportiest ‘R-Line’ variant.

Compared to the standard version, you get sportier bumpers both at the front and rear.

Up front, the visual highlight is the connected lighting element on the grille and the large airdam with cross-hatch detailing.

- Great seats: R-Line seats give you a good driving position and are comfortable and supportive. Massage function is good.
- Spacious and practical: Offers plenty of room, lots of cubby holes and charging options. Dual wireless charging up front is a great feature.
- Impressive tech package: Comes with a 15-inch touchscreen, a digital driver's display, and a HUD too
Things We Don't Like
- Missing features: Does not get keyless entry, powered and ventilated front seats
- Not so efficient: Fuel efficiency of the large turbo-petrol engine in traffic and when driven with a heavy right foot can drop
