Nissan Sway small car concept teased; unveil at Geneva Motor Show
Nissan has released the first picture of its Sway small car concept, which will be unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The company has stated that the same radical thinking and quality standards that were followed in developing Nissan Qashqai and Juke models will also be applied for the small car. Nissan Sway will pave way for the future generation of small cars in terms of new design language and the company has confirmed that a new hatchback will be spawned soon for the European market.

We believe that the Sway concept will point us towards how the next generation Nissan Micra will look like. The Micra is in its fourth generation now, which was introduced in 2010. Nissan has been struggling to find as much buyers as it would have liked for the current Micra in India. The recent facelift, though making the already able car look much better, too didn’t translate to more sales. Nissan could also be making Sway as a smaller car than the Micra but positioning it in India will lead to cannibalization of its budget brand Datsun’s Go hatchback.
