Volkswagen associates with technical training institutes
As an initiative to generate an effective employable talent pool in the country, Volkswagen group India signed an MoU with Hindustan Electronics Academy Polytechnic in Bangalore today. Mr. Hildebrandt, Director -Group Service, National Sales Corporation, Volkswagen India commented on the occasion that the company wishes to land a hand to all such training institutes with its expertise in order to create better opportunities for today's youth. He further added that the automobile sector is rapidly growing in India and in order to aid the expansion, a huge talent pool is one of the biggest asset.
This program aimed at manpower development has been termed as VG-TAP [Volkswagen Group Technical Education Program]. The program has been one of the most recent initiatives from the company with the vision to generate ready to tap professional talent pool across the country. As a part of the program, Volkswagen Group India would be lending its expertise to train the students of these technical institutes in automobile sector. At the completion of the program, the students enrolled would get a chance to work with the dealer outlets in the country as well.
The program began with a bang today and the first institute to receive an association from the Volkswagen Group was Hindustan Electronics Academy Polytechnic, Bangalore. Mr. K.C. Samuel, Chairman, Hindustan Academy said that the institute is glad that groups like Volkswagen have taken initiatives like these to render education, that is the strongest pillar of development. The association according to him, would help students discover their capabilities, evolve their skills, achieve more and transform their future.
This alliance between Volkswagen and these institutes is mainly aimed at ensuring and assisting today's youth to acquire knowledge about modern technologies in the automobile arena through a certification course. The program would ensure that it bridges the current gap between the industry expectations and curriculum offered. In terms of contribution, the company would render technical support, imparting training to faculties, providing aggregates, sub-assemblies and components of the latest automotive technologies employed in vehicles. The institutes on the other hand would make sure that they provide adequate infrastructure, classrooms for workshops and all the required tools for the facility. The selection process for this program is still under wraps but is expected to be stringent.

same above TTTI is starting the automotive training course how does the Volkswagen course is different from TTTI and what all courses are ur training instittute would be providing in total with the course duration??? could you suggets me are these courses well off for which categoty workers students or executive ????
