Toyota Glanza Interior Revealed In New Spy Shots
First spy shots of the Glanza’s cabin confirm no change in the interiors compared to the Baleno

Interiors of the Glanza V-spec petrol-MT variant have been spied.
Same all-black interior theme with black and blue upholstery as Baleno.
Gets push-button start, touchscreen infotainment and steering-mounted audio controls.
Expected to be priced from Rs 7.5 lakh to Rs 9 lakh, launch soon.
The launch of the Toyota Glanza is not far away and a fresh set of spy shots have revealed its interiors for the first time. Spotted here in the V variant again, the interiors of this red Glanza are very similar, if not exactly the same as the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
This is a manual variant of the Glanza with the ignition push-start feature. The Toyota hatchback is expected to get the new 1.2-litre Dual Jet Dual VVT petrol engine with the mild-hybrid tech. There will be no diesel variant on offer and the Glanza will only get the BS6 petrol engine. Maruti offers the same petrol engine with a manual transmission only while Toyota is expected to offer a CVT automatic option as well.
The spy images reveal that the Glanza gets a similar 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system as the Baleno with steering-mounted controls. That said, it remains to be seen if Toyota carries over the same SmartPlay Studio infotainment system as the Baleno or not. The steering wheel design is also exactly the same as the Baleno, but with a Toyota badge in the centre.
It even sports the same all-black dashboard with black and blue upholstery as seen on the Baleno. Even the blue-backlit instrument cluster is exactly the same with blue circles and the same multi-information display between the rev-counter and speedometer.
As it stands, the Toyota Glanza is turning out to be a Baleno with just different badges, both inside and out. It also gets the same LED projector headlamps with DRLs and taillamps and even the same chrome inserts. This leads to a rather simple buyer question - why pick the Glanza over the Baleno, besides the likelihood of a petrol-CVT combination? Perhaps there will be an answer when the Glanza is launched. It is expected to be priced between Rs 7.5 lakh to Rs 9 lakh.
