Most subcompact SUVs in India currently have a waiting period of three to four months ahead of the festive season

The sub-4m SUV segment in India remains the most popular with the highest collective monthly sales. With many affordable and premium options to choose from, models from this segment are hard not to look twice at. The segment currently has a total of eight cars.

• Maruti Brezza: Maruti’s subcompact SUV buyers will have to endure up to 4 months of waiting in most cities for the Brezza but those in Hyderabad and Kolkata can expect theirs to arrive in just 1 month.

• Hyundai Venue: While the wait time of the facelifted Venue goes up to 5 months in a few cities, averaging 4 months in most others, it is readily available in Patna.

• Renault Kiger: Kiger has a waiting period of 1 month in most cities but can be taken home in just 1 week in Patna while being readily available in Kolkata.

• Nissan Magnite: Nissan Magnite holds an average wait time of just 2 months.

• Mahindra XUV300: The XUV300 bags the highest waiting period in the segment with up to 7 months in Jaipur and Chandigarh. In most other cities, buyers can expect delivery in around 4 months.

• Kia Sonet: Kia Sonet also has a high wait time averaging at around 4 months in most cities, the longest delay of 6 months is for buyers in Pune.
