2014 Porsche Macan leaked

We reported earlier that the 2014 Porsche Macan SUV will be previewed at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and the first ever fully undisguised images of the vehicle have hit the web. A brochure, in German, has been leaked on twitter showing the interiors as well exteriors of the production version Macan.

It will be the company's cheapest offering, and will also help the Porsche to smartly transit from the niche sportscar maker to a premium carmaker. The 2014 Macan will take its styling cues from the Cayenne, and will have different rear end that features a tailgate-mounted spoiler and slender taillights. It will also gets the LED-infused headlights, a sloping roofline and curvaceous bodywork. The vehicle is built on the Volkswagen's famous MLB platform, which also underpins the Audi Q5 crossover.

The 2014 Macan interior resembles the Cayenne, and comes equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel, dashboard and centre console. The vehicle also has dark trim, metallic accents and a large infotainment system.

The crossover will be made available with two petrol engines that churns out a maximum power output of 340bhp and 400bhp, respectively. It is also speculated that the vehicle will also has a twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 and a twin-turbo 3.6-litre V6. The entry level Porsche Macan is likely to be priced around £38,237 (INR 3741085.79).
