Skoda India opens its largest 3S facility in Chennai
Skoda India has inaugurated its largest 3S facility in Chennai with the company’s newest corporate design. The new facility by Gurudev Motors will be Skoda’s first facility with the new design, sporting an attractive layout and reformed functionalities to better customer experience. Skoda Auto India has planned to revamp its entire dealer network with the new corporate design as a part of its ongoing growth strategy.

Mr. Michael Arndt - Head of Sales Asia and Overseas, Skoda Auto, Mr. Ashutosh Dixit, Director, Sales, Service and Marketing, Skoda Auto India and Mr. Paras Vaid, Dealer Principal, Gurudev Motors were present for the inauguration.
The new 3S facility by Gurudev Motors is located at Ambattur and spans across 44,000 sq.ft with 3100 sq.ft of display area, 3750 sq.ft of sales area and 33,000 sq.ft of service workshop. The service workshop contains 35 bays and can service approximately 60 cars per day.
The facility also has a brand accessory zone, training zone and exquisite lounges for customers, car owners and drivers. The new Skoda showrooms are designed to offer modern showrooms with a great look and feel, customer friendly environment and a pleasant, transparent atmosphere.
Skoda India also launched the new generation Superb in Chennai after the national launch in Delhi a couple of days ago. The Superb will be available with two engine options - 1.8 TSi and the 2.0 TDi. The petrol TSi motor is offered with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG automatic while the diesel will come only with a 6-speed DSG. The petrol motor puts out 180 PS and 320 Nm of torque with an ARAI rated fuel efficiency of 14.12km/l (MT) and 14.67km/l (AT). The diesel makes 177 PS and 350 Nm with a claimed mileage of 18.19km/l.
