Audi To Showcase E-Tron Sportback Concept At Auto Shanghai 2017
This could be one of the three all-electric models that Audi has recently announced to be on roads by 2020!

Audi, the Ingolstadt-based automaker, has released a few official sketches of its new E-Tron Sportback concept, which will see the light of the day at the Auto Shanghai 2017 later this week. The E-Tron Sportback could inspire or could actually be one of the three all-electric cars that Audi has planned to put on roads latest by 2020 as announced by the automaker at its annual press conference in March.
Audi has not detailed the E-Tron Sportback concept much, except for a couple of teasers and a set of official sketches. In terms of various design and LED elements, the new concept resembles the Audi E-Tron Quattro, which made its official debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The E-Tron Sportback, as the name indicates, is a high-riding coupe crossover. It has Audi’s new Octagonal grille up front, which will soon debut on the production-spec 2018 Q8 and was also seen on the E-Tron Quattro concept. On similar lines, it has connected LED tail lamps, which will be first seen in the all- new production-spec A8 this year. Audi's four-rings logo at the front and the rear is illuminated in this concept.
The interior of the Sportback concept is yet to be revealed, but we believe that it won’t be drastically different from the cabin of the E-Tron Quattro concept. The latter’s interior is characterised by the three large OLED displays, including the Audi virtual cockpit curved OLED.

Though not confirmed by the automaker, the upcoming concept, as its name, ‘E-Tron’, indicates, is likely to have an all-electric powertrain like the E-Tron Quattro concept. Stay tuned to CarDekho for the E-Tron’s reveal later this week.
