Let's have an exact insight into what this luxury barge is going to feature. Well, the front fascia of the 2014 Volvo S80 has a comparatively small grille which resembles that of the S60's this time. The next change at the face is that the headlamps have been tweaked a bit, which now also sport LED daytime lamps. Coming to the rear, the 2014 S80 doesn't show much of a distinction, however, the bumper has got a little reshaping. The side profile of the sedan looks identical to the existing model. Another change that we can expect in this modified sedan can be newly formulated wheels, and the rest should be alike the current S80.

2014 Volvo S80 is going to be available in two powertrain options. The entry level models to equip a 2.0 litre, 5-cylinder oil burner which produces 163bhp and 400Nm of torque, while the top-end variants of the car will be powered by a 2.4 Liter diesel capable of generating 215bhp and 400Nm of torque. This to be introduced luxury barge is going to compete the likes of BMW 5, Mercedes-Benz E Class, and Audi A6.
