Skoda launched the all new Octavia in 2013 and couple of years later, the Czech automaker has released a new trim for the car. Skoda is calling this trim update as “Style Plus”. The company has introduced this trim to sit above the Elegance and Ambition variants. The petrol variant for the Style Plus trim is priced at Rs 19.80 lac and the diesel variant is priced at Rs 21.23 lac, ex-showroom Mumbai.

The Style Plus trim comes with features like  keyless entry, SmartLink mobile phone connectivity, engine start-stop system,  a rear-view camera with a display in the center console and two rear side airbags. The Style Plus trim features eight airbags.

Mechanically, the Style Plus trim upgrades the standard car to paddle shifters for both diesel and petrol automatic. The automatic transmission is exclusive to the 2.0TDI and the 1.8TSI and won’t be available in the 1.4TSI. Similarly, the paddle shifters are also only available in the 1.8TSI and 2.0TDI engine options.

The Octavia has always been a boy racer favorite, courtesy of its sporty appeal and now with the incorporation of paddle shifters, it is becoming more and more evident that Octavia is taking its image seriously.
