Mr. Philipp von Sahr: New President of BMW Group India
BMW Group India has choosen Mr. Philipp von Sahr as there successor President in the place of Dr. Andreas Schaaf who was currently heading the Indian unit of BMW group. This announcement was made today evening. Mr. Philipp von Sahr is currently 54 years old and is right now working at the post of President in the BMW Group Belgium, Luxemburg. He will take up his post in the BMW Group India at the BMW Group Headquarters in Munich starting from 1st of October of this year.

Mr. Philipp have done his MBA from the University of Munich in the year 1986 with Commercial apprenticeship in Industrial Sales from BMW AG, Munich. Since then, he has been giving his services to BMW at various designations until he was appointed at the post of President of the BMW Group Belux (Belgium and Luxemburg) unit. Dr. Andreas Schaaf as President of BMW Group India successfully took up all the odds that the company faced and fiercely fought with the competitive environment that is present in the country. He maintained the Number One position of the BMW in the Indian car market of luxury segment cars.
