Maruti Introduces Special Edition Models Of Alto, Celerio And Wagon R

These models get an additional accessory kit as seen with the Swift limited edition

Alto special edition includes a touchscreen music system and dual-tone seat covers.
Maruti is offering the Celerio special edition with accessories such as door visor, designer floor mats, and new seat covers.
The special edition of the Wagon R gets front and rear bumper protectors and front grille chrome garnish.
These special editions are priced at Rs 25,490 for Alto, Rs 25,990 for Celerio, and Rs 29,990 for WagonR.
They feature no mechanical changes and still come with their respective petrol and CNG powertrains.

After introducing a limited edition model of the Swift in October 2020, Maruti has now launched festive editions of the Alto, Celerio and Wagon R. As seen with the Swift’s limited edition, the special edition models of these three cars also get an accessory package.

The Alto special edition comes with a touchscreen music system with 6-speakers, dual-tone seat covers, security system with keyless entry, steering wheel cover, number plate garnish, mud flaps, and designer floor mats. If you are looking for the Celerio special edition, it gets a music system with Bluetooth, new seat covers, designer floor mats, body side moulding, door visor, rear seat cushion, and number plate garnish.

Maruti is offering the special edition of the Wagon R with front and rear bumper protectors, chrome garnish for the front grille, wheel arch cladding, interior styling kit, new seat covers, designer floor mats, side skirting, body side moulding, and door visor. Maruti has priced the accessory kits at Rs 25,490 for the Alto, Rs 25,990 for the Celerio, and Rs 29,990 for the Wagon R. These kits will be fitted at the carmaker’s dealerships across the country.

No changes have been made to their engines. The models continue to get the same petrol and CNG powertrains:

Maruti sells the Alto in the range of Rs 2.94 lakh to Rs 4.36 lakh, Celerio from Rs 4.41 lakh to Rs 5.68 lakh, and Wagon R from Rs 4.45 lakh to Rs 5.94 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). While the Alto rivals the Renault Kwid and Datsun redi-GO, the Celerio and Wagon R go up against the Hyundai Santro, Datsun GO, and Tata Tiago.
