In fiscal year 2025(FY25), premium hatchback sales in India showed diminishing buyers’ interest in this segment, with sales dropping by as much as 50 percent. Interestingly, subcompact and micro-SUVs which share a similar price range are now preferred more than these premium hatchbacks. Currently, there are four premium hatchbacks in the Indian market. Here’s a detailed report on their sales in FY2025.
