Mahindra XUV500 Launches in Arctic Blue Colour Shade; Bookings Start!

India's leading SUV maker, Mahindra & Mahindra has now launched its flagship premium SUV, the XUV500 in a new Arctic Blue Shade, taking the total colour options offered on XUV500 to seven. And the bookings for the new colour has already started across all Mahindra & Mahindra dealerships in India. So now we have Mahindra XUV500 available in seven paint shades: Arctic Blue, Volcano Black, Moon dust Silver, Satin White, Opulent Purple, Dolphin Grey and Tuscan Red.

Mahindra XUV500

Mahindra XUV500 which has been facing a tough competition from the Renault Duster has once again left the Duster behind in January 2013 sales, and now with the new paint shade, the car offers one more option to its buyers. Available in a total three variants- W6 Front Wheel Drive, W8 Front Wheel Drive and W8 All Wheel drive is priced between Rs. 11.8-14.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The XUV500 is one of the few products designed for the global markets, has been reportedly working on a petrol version of the car for international markets (not for India as of now).

Mahindra is also said to be working on an automatic transmission version of the car, which will be launched both in India and international markets it is being sold. And if rumours are to be believed, Mahindra might also launch an updated XUV500 in India, which might have a new infotainment system and improved braking.
