The Compass Trail Edition is priced between Rs 25.41 lakh and Rs 27.41 lakh.

The Jeep Compass and Jeep Meridian now get a special Trail Edition, which is currently on sale from Rs 25.41 lakh and Rs 31.27 lakh, respectively. Like other Jeep special editions, this one also brings several cosmetic enhancements to both the exterior and interior of the SUVs. However, there are no major feature additions or mechanical changes.
Jeep is offering a complimentary 3-year maintenance contract for both SUVs. Additionally, the Compass Trail Edition comes with a 5-year extended warranty and a cash discount of Rs 20,000.

What’s New?


The Compass Trail Edition features new Trail Edition decals on the hood and sides, matte black grille accents, and a Neutral Grey finish on the grille rings, roof rails, badges, and outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs). It also gets Granite Metallic Satin Gloss 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Inside, the SUV receives black leatherette upholstery with red stitching, dashboard highlights, and Trail Edition-branded all-weather floor mats.


The Meridian Trail Edition also comes with a signature hood decal, black roof, Trail Edition badging, and Neutral Grey accents on the grille, roof rails, and badges. It also has piano black detailing on various exterior parts and red accents on the front bumper. Even the interior is finished in a similar theme as the Compass Trail Edition.
Other Features & Safety

The Compass Trail edition will carry ahead all the features of the Longitude(O) trim, the highlights of which include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, auto headlights, 6-speaker sound system, cruise control and wireless phone charger. It also gets dual airbags, electronic parking brake (EPB) with auto hold, a rear parking camera, and hill start assist and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

The Meridian Trail edition shares features with the Limited(O), the highlights of which include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, auto headlamps, ventilated and 8-way power adjustable front seats with memory function for the driver side, dual zone auto AC and a 9-speaker Alpine sound system. For safety, it gets six airbags, hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic parking brake (EPB) with auto hold and a 360-degree camera.
Powertrain Options
The Jeep Compass and Jeep Meridian share the same 2-litre diesel engine. However, the Compass in its Longitude(O) doesn’t get the 4x4 all-wheel drive option, which is exclusive to its top-spec. The Meridian Limited (O), on the other hand, gets a 4x4 all-wheel drivetrain, which is offered with the Trail Edition as well.
