What’s New?
The Hyundai i20 Magna Executive variant is positioned between the base-spec Era and the Magna variant. It carries over all the features from the base-spec variant while adding a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) over it.
The existing Magna variant is available with the CVT (continuously variable transmission) option now. Earlier, the CVT was offered from the Sportz variant. Also, the single-pane sunroof which was previously offered from the Sportz(O) variant onwards, is now available in the Magna CVT variant, making it more accessible.
The Hyundai i20 Sportz(O) variant also gets two new features: push button start/stop and a 7-speaker Bose sound system, both of which were earlier available in the higher-spec Asta variant. That said, these two additions come at a price hike as the manual variants of the Sportz(O) cost Rs 28,000 more while the CVT automatic is more expensive by Rs 18,000 than before.
