Hyundai i10 Sound Edition Hits Europe
Grapevines have tightened around the Korean auto giant Hyundai and it has surfaced that this car maker has recently extended the line-up for its much-favoured hatchback i10 in Europe. The newest addition to the Hyundai i10 array is the Sound Edition which is on the same lines as the Hyundai i20 Sound Edition that focussed mainly on the infotainment features of the car.

But what is extra in the Hyundia i10 Sound Edition is the ability of fitting in an air conditioner; remote control operated anti-theft door locks, Bluetooth system and a satellite navigation system that sports a touch screen of 4.3 inches. The audio system affixed in the car plays MP3/CD and Radio through 6 speakers; it also flaunts AUX input and USB port for playing music through thumb drives and iPods. The steering wheel sports audio controls mounted on it.
The other equipments doing duty in the Hyundai i10 Sound Edition include the choice of a 1.1 litre engine that produces a peak power of 69 HP and a 1.2 litre engine pumping out a peak power of 85 HP. The transmission system coupling the engines is either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic; the 1.1 litre engine version is also made available with a LPG kit. There’s more to the sound edition that ensure safety and is known as ‘Safe Pack’ that flaunts ESP, disc brakes on rear wheels, side curtain airbags and active headrests on front seats.
