Hyundai H1 launched at Auto Expo
Hyundai unveiled Hyundai H1 at Auto Expo today at Pragati Maidan.The car will be available as a nine seater in India whereas the 12 seater model is available in the International Market. Hyundai H1 will be available to its users in both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol variant is powered by 2.4L, 2359 cc engine and delivers power of 128.4 KW at 5500 rpm, 227.7 Nm torque at 2800 rpm. The diesel variant is powered by 2.5 L ,2359 cc engine, powered by 125 KW at 3800 rpm, torque of 392 nm at 2000 rpm.

Hyundai H1 Wagon model that lies somewhere between a van and a mini bus is available with both 5 speed manual and auto transmission option. The front suspension of the car is a McPherson Struts with wishbone while the rear suspension is a Rigid Hexal Spring.
Though the car does not flash smart exteriors but it can be called a utility vehicle. It comes with powerful clutch and brakes that add to the safety to the driver and the co-passenger in emergency braking. The rear doors are in the form of sliders and hence becomes useful in loading big and broad luggage easily. Hence it solves a dual purpose of a passenger car and a load carrier.
The main attraction of the show besides the display of Hyundai models was the presence of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan who unveiled all the cars of the Company. SRK was particularly excited to come to the venue since in his childhood days in Delhi, his father had a stall at Pragati Maidan.
Talking about his collaboration with Hyundai, Shahrukh Khan said in his usual quick wit that his relationship with Hyundai has been longer than the relationship with his wife.
Uncovering of Hyundai models has been the most talked about event so far at the Auto Expo because of Shahrukh Khan in it.
