    Honda Jazz

The company has taken this decision in order to free up the capacity for the upcoming Honda Amaze, which is unquestionably one of the most anticipated products from the stable of Honda ever since its entry into the Indian market. The company wants to keep its focus on the Brio and the upcoming Amaze; however the company is likely to launch the next-generation Jazz in India by 2015, which will also have a diesel version.

Next-generation Jazz is already under development and will be locally produced, and the diesel engine that it will come up with is the similar 1.5-litre i-DTEC, which will also power the Amaze, so we can expect the new Jazz to be priced very aggressive. The new Jazz will also have a 1.2-litre petrol version and there might also be a 1.5-litre hot-hatch version of the same car in India.

Honda which is also considering launching the next-generation Honda City in India possibly in 2014 will bring the Jazz after that, the Jazz and City would share the platform. Next generation Honda City too will have a diesel heart, so soon we will have almost every of the Honda car with a diesel engine.
