Chevrolet Cruze to hit Indian roads next month

General Motors is all set to roll out its most ambitious premium sedan, Chevrolet Cruze, in India. This will be among the first in upcoming cars in India in October-November. The car is expected to be launched in petrol, diesel and automatic transmission variants. The price tag of the car is learnt to be in the range between 14 to 16 lakh in India. The petrol variant will sports 1.6L, 1598cc, DOHC petrol engine with MPFI (Multi Point Fuel Injection) fuel injection system while the diesel variant will be equipped with 2.0L, 1991cc, SOHC diesel engine with Direct Fuel Injection system. The premium sedan will be pitted against Honda Accord, Skoda Superb, Skoda Octavia, Hyundai Sonata, Skoda Laura, Toyota Corolla Altis, Honda Civic and Volkswagen Jetta. The car will not only have the best active and passive features but also other latest features like ABS (Antilock Brake System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution), Disc Brakes, dual front airbags, Seat Belts with pretensioner, Door Open Warning, Seat Belt warning, Traction Control and many more other features. Tata Motor is also expected to introduce its MUV Tata Indicruz and Tata Indigo Vista in the next month.
