Tata Motors has taken an evolutionary design approach with the facelifted Altroz, which has made it look more modern and premium than before

2025 Tata Altroz facelift vs old Tata Altroz

The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift was fully revealed ahead of its launch on May 22, 2025. Compared to the older model, it features several design updates including new LED headlights, redesigned alloy wheels, connected LED tail lights, and flush-type door handles. The interior has also been updated with the design language seen in Tata’s newer models. Let us take a look at the design differences between the facelifted Altroz and the old model with the help of 15 images.

    Front

The front design of the 2025 Tata Altroz looks sharper and more modern than the older model. It gets new twin-pod LED headlights, eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs, and pixel-style LED fog lamps. In comparison, the old Altroz boasts a more rounded design with projector halogen headlights and halogen fog lamps right beneath it with small LED DRLs.

The bumper has also been updated. The new Altroz gets a rugged black trim that runs between the fog lamps and continues along the lower part of the bumper. The older model had a body-coloured bumper with black detailing only on the air dams.

    Side

The side profile of the new Altroz remains mostly the same except for a few updates. It now gets flush-type front door handles with illumination and new dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels that look more premium. The rear door handles are still placed on the C-pillar in the new Altroz, just like in the older model.

Another change is the placement of the turn indicators. In the older model, they were on the front fenders, but in the new Altroz, they have been moved to the outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs).

    Rear

A major change at the rear of the facelifted Altroz is the new connected LED tail lights, which look sleek and modern than the wraparound halogen units of the older model. The rear bumper has also been updated with a bold-looking black portion, while the older Altroz had a fully body-coloured bumper.

However, elements like the rear wiper, roof-mounted spoiler, and shark fin antenna, have been carried over from the previous model.
