2025 Renault Kiger Facelift Confirmed To Launch In India on August 24

The facelift is expected to bring in some subtle exterior and interior design enhancements as well as minor feature additions

The Renault Kiger has been on sale in India since 2021 in India and is now set to receive a mid-life refresh on August 24, 2025. This update is expected to induce some exterior and design changes to the sub-4m SUV while also introducing some new features. While details of the facelifted sub-4m SUV is expected to be revealed in the coming times, here’s what you can expect from the 2025 Kiger:
2025 Renault Kiger Facelift: What To Expect?


As is typical to mid-life facelifts, the 2025 Kiger is expected to get subtle design revisions outside with a redesigned grille and bumpers. It will also get a new set of alloy wheels that will give it a more modern look than the current-spec model. One can also expect revised lighting elements to give it a breath of fresh air.

Inside too, the dashboard design is expected to be more or less the same, but it can use a new dual-tone theme to make the cabin look more premium. In contrast, the current-spec model gets an all-black cabin theme. One can also expect new trims and upholstery to be on offer as well.


In terms of features, it will most likely continue to offer amenities including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, auto AC with rear vents and a wireless phone charger. It is also expected to continue with a 6-speaker Arkamys-tuned sound system and electrically adjustable ORVMs with auto fold function.
The safety suite is expected to be enhanced with 6 airbags as standard (currently gets 4 airbags only) and will continue to offer amenities like rear parking camera with sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill start assist and traction control system.
2025 Renault Kiger Facelift: Expected Powertrain Options

With the facelift, no change is expected to be made to the powertrain department of the Renault sub-4m SUV. Hence, it will continue to be offered with the following engine options:

Like the current model, the Kiger is expected to offer an optional CNG kit with the naturally aspirated petrol-manual combination, which can be retrofitted at an authorised dealership. Currently, the CNG conversion kits cost an additional Rs 79,500 over the selected variant’s price.
2025 Renault Kiger Facelift: Expected Price & Rivals

The 2025 Renult Kiger facelift is expected to cost a small premium over the current-spec model, prices of which currently range between Rs 6.15 lakh and Rs 11.23 Lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). Upon launch, it will continue to lock horns with the Nissan Magnite, Tata Punch / Nexon, Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Exter / Venue, Kia Syros and also the Skoda Kylaq.
