2013 Range Rover Launched at Rs. 1.72 Crore, Pictures and Details

Its finally here; the new Range Rover 2013. We have already brought to you more or less everything there is to know about this wonderful SUV and here are the last bits of information. The Range Rover line-up now consists of 3 variants namely; The Range Rover Vouge SE priced at Rs. 1.72 Crore, the Autobiography at Rs. 1.79 Crore and the top end Autobiography petrol version at Rs. 1.84 Crore (Ex-showroom Delhi).

From what JLR have said, the new SUV holds the record for being the world's first all aluminium monocoque, thanks to which the SUV is now 400kg's lighter than its previous models. As we have already informed our readers, the new Rover comes in both petrol and diesel engine options with power outputs at 503bhp for the Supercharged V8 petrol and 255bhp for the SDV8.

There are no details on the exact mileage figures for the new Range Rover but JLR calim vastly improved fuel efficiency.

The interiors show improved cabin space for the rear passengers and the legroom for the middle row has been increased thanks to the 40mm larger wheelbase. Ground clearance and wading depths for the SUV have been increased as well with the ground clearance going up 18mm and 200mm of increased wading depth.
